Shobha M. Lolanath, is a well known dancer, choreographer, model, TV and Film artist, event organizer and humanitarian. She has orchestrated, organized and performed in hundreds of events in India. Her humble beginnings date back to 1999, when she started a dance class in Jayanagar, Bangalore for young girls. She learnt and taught dance and performed numerous dance programs at this tender age. Five years later, she moved to ISRO Layout, Bangalore with her family and started a new dance class that not only extended dance lessons to include multiple classical disciplines but started producing and coordinating events. In parallel, she pursued her academic goal and earned a bachelor degree in Information Technology.
She embarked and successfully completed an ambitious dance tour. Dance group "GNS" evolved into Classic and Contemporary Arts, a fine arts production and management organization and took dance as a fine arts discipline to a new level. Her repertoire of expertise spans various Indian dance forms that include: Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Contemporary, Modern Art, Folk, Western and Film. She is effectively promoting Indian dance and culture.
Shobha M. Lolanath worked with several well known directors in Kannada TV serials, normally playing major leading roles in Kannada TV serials. Also acts in Kannada films as a supporting actress. In the Kannada industry, she is normally identified as a model lady whose appearance suites with current family environment. Shobha M. Lolanath's face suits to both traditional as well as modern looks. Because of that she played both traditional and modern oriented characters. Currently playing major negative role in some serials and got more recognition in these kinds of roles. Lolanath played major roles in some of tale films such as 'Nombu', 'Just chill' and 'Parivarthane' and these tale films were centered towards women. Also acted in "AK 56" and "Putta" movie.
